It isn't very often that I get to return to my home in Oyster Bay and see the people who are very important to me. This is the first year that I have been able to return home for this holiday in many years.

It was quite a wild trip in that we drove from Dayton on Wednesday Night to Long Island for Dinner the next day, from there to Park Hills Kentucky.

After a few short hours of sleep and picking up two more children we headed for Edwardsville, Illinois arriving Saturday and picking up the final two children for a 25th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday in Waterloo, Illinois. Monday we returned to Dayton.

A couple of thousand miles in 6 days can be really hard, but I would do it again to spend time with those we visited. It was a fine trip!:-)
