A Handyman Helping Hand

porch decking

We have a porch facing east with little protection from weather except porch roof. We replaced floor with tongue and groove boards (primed and painted) 5 years ago. Painted it twice again but still peeled by sun and rotten at one end that had less sun exposure. The porch is over the basement and sets on a footer. We thought about the new decking material made out of recycled plastic. The porch is 6 ft by 20 and we were worried about the expense but don't want to replace it every 5 yrs. We thank you for any recommendation.
