There is no standard %, but 10% is a safe bet.

What profit % a contractor figures into a job is based on the market he is in. In a cold, highly competative market it may be a little as 0-3% just to keep working...

In a hot market where there are not enough contractors to meet demand it could be as high as 20-25%.
