In Response To: Garage Door seal (Gary Wyszynski)

You can buy the "U" channel in several differant widths and lengths. Most doors come with the bottem seal about 3 to 4 inches wide. You can pull the seal out and replace it with one, say 6 inches wide to compensate for the gap you have on the floor. When you order the seal you need to tell the door company the width and the length you want. For a 16 foot long door you want the seal to be about 17 feet long so you can tuck in the ends. If you do not tuck in the ends the seal will work its way out in time. If you can't find a door company that has the seal you want try (United Overhead Door) at (920)766-5300 and tell them the make of the door and the problem you have. Good Luck!
