In Response To: ceiling crown molding (wendy)

Cutting the angles for crown molding requires a compound mitre saw. It requires a setting of 45 degrees for the typical right angle mitre cuts PLUS an offset of 22 1/2 deg to compensate for the fact that the crown sits on the wall at a 45 deg angle.
