Installing new 3-way switch

Posted By: Ronald

I am having trouble installing a couple of new 3-way switches. I have run the hot to the common, run traveller wires from one switch to the other (connecting the dark terminal to the dark and the light to the light) and run the switched wire from the common of the second switch to the light. Everything works fine when the switches are in one position, but when they are in another position, one switch will not work at all. What do I need to do?
