leaky sliding glass doors

I have sliding glass doors on the second floor of a wood frame home. They both leak at the bottom by the openings. the wood is water damaged. One of them doesn't close all the way. The bottom is open just a crack but enough to let water in. The other one closes just fine but water gets in some how at the bottom edge. There are balconies on the outside of both doors. Can the door that doesn't close at the bottom be adjusted to close if the casing was moved in closer? Is there a product to waterproof the edges or does some of the wood at the base need to be replaced?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Joe
