A Handyman Helping Hand

drywall

I am skim coating my living room walls. I used a setting type coating the first time. (very thin). Then I used a pre-mix in the bucket on one wall then tried a light compound from a box (also premixed). I am having trouble with bubbles showing up after sanding. A lot of bubbles. This is making the job longer than I planned on. Any suggestions? Jeff
