A Handyman Helping Hand

kitchen sink

Posted By: sally warner

the original sink is about 50 yrs old and appears to be made of porcelain or ceramic. It now has a large area where the finish has worn away and looks black. It is surrounded by tile countertop and it appears the sink cannot be replaced without tearing out the countertop to get to it. Is there any product that would refinish the sink so that it would not need to be completely replaced and i would not have to tear out the entire countertop? Any suggestions most welcome.
