Laminate flooring

We would like to install laminated wood flooring in the kitchen and Bathroom. One retailer has recommended they're flooring which they claim is better in wet conditions because it has protective coating on the back side as well as the front. 1. Is it a good idea to install this type of flooring in a bathroom? 2. If so what product is best suited for the job? We have seen Pergo, Witech, Bruce and Tundra(from IKEA)
