In Response To: tile flooring (Stacey)

Stacey,

It all depends of the type of tile that is down and what you want to replace it with. Ceramic tile is difficult to work with, but if your just taking it up... That can be done. Putting new ceramic down is time and skill consuming. Probably consider having that done.

If you have asphalt or vinyl flooring down now and want to put down the same, that is less difficult.

If you take up one thickness and put down another that creates a whole new set of problems. Regardless, it's more than likely a small space and if you don't mind working at it... it's a good place to learn.

Good luck!

Don
