Leila, I went to Home Depot last week and Behr carries two different types of paint/stain. They recommend that: 1) the paint be stripped 2)Remove the dirt, grease, and any oil with Concrete Cleaner & Degreaser, 3) Apply Concrete Etcher & Rust remover, and 4) Paint (Behr Plus 10 Siliconized 100% Acrylic Concrete Stain (40 colors) or Behr 1 Part Epoxy Acrylic Concrete & Garage Floor Paint (40 colors). I am trying to do the opposite of you. I have a beautiful brown swirled cement underneath the painted floors in my home and am trying to figure out how to bring them back to life. Good luck. P.S. You might want to look on Behr's website at www.behrpaint.com
