You can purchase solid foam filler in varying diameter and length. You might try a 1/2 inch diameter foam filler for a tighter fit. Depending on the depth of the cracks, you may need to run into the cracks 2, 3 or 4 lengths of the foam filler, one on top of each other. Then top the fillers with caulking to finish off the job. I have used a different method with a concrete patio slab that was had moved away from the front wall of my house. In some areas, the gap was one inch wide. Foam filler was not appropriate for such a large crack, so I filled the crack with sand all the way to about 3/4 inch depth. Then I poured concrete over the sand to close the gap. This worked very well for me. It was tedious work that only a homeowner devoted to his home can do.
