Upright Vaccum Squeaking

Hi Handyman Helping Hand,

My upright vaccum cleaner suddenly started squeaking. Do I need to replace a belt? How can I stop the squeak? My idea (which I thought was very GOOD) was not to use it - but strange things start gathering around the edges of the floor. :-)
