A Handyman Helping Hand

matching texture

Posted By: Sandra Hartwig

I am painting my living room. There is texturing on two of the walls and two of the wall are smooth (they were covered by wallpaper). What do I add to the paint to try to match the texture? It is not a thick texture--kinda like sand. The house is old. Probably late 40's early 50's. Any suggestions on what and how much to use? Thanks so mush for helping me. The paint stores have not helped at all.
