A Handyman Helping Hand

door stop moulding

The gap between my doors and jambs is 1/2 inch. Door stop is sold 3/8 x various width. How do I make up the 1/8 inch difference so the gap is covered? Can I make moulding with a router, if so what type and size bit can I get?
