Problem: 40 yr. old home.4" cast drain lines from &toilets. One line with kitchen sink (no disposal), & half bath. Remodeled half bath and replaced old toilet with new Mansfield tank & bowl (1.6 gal. tank).
Constant headache with slow flush/draining of toilet bowl.Snaked out line, all was fine for roughly one month. Slow draining of bowl again with added new problem! Bowl is now siphoning itself until nearly empty after flushing.
Have checked drain stack, pitch, bowl flush valve, even flange mounting to floor (you never know!),
No problem yet with bath or kitchen sink draining. These are downstream of toilet. Losing patience in a hurry! Any hints or ideas?
