Greetings -
The following has me perplexed and I was hoping someone might be able to suggest something for me.
I am running network cable from my computer to each of the kids rooms. My daughters room is directly below the computer room. We live in a bi-level.
My first option was to run the cable through the air vents, however that was an exercise in frustration as I could not fisht the cable through to grab somehow on the other end.
My second option was brute force, got the drill and proceeded to drill a hole through our wood floors. About 12 inches down, I hit something. At first I curse thinking of all the spots, I hit the one with the nail. I go downstairs and drill up through the ceiling in my daughters room and boom, same blasted _____.
Now, I'm really ticked, sweating, and having a daughter that wants her internet down stairs. I try a different location and ......same results.
So my question is.....what am I hitting? How do I run the cable downstairs if I am not able to break through this....thing.
