New Roof

My house has a 2 pitch roof ( 3 layers of shingle). The main part of the house has a normal pitch and the den extention has a lower pitch roof. The entire roof was replaced 11 years ago. Now, I have a leak in the low pitch area. I had a roofer come to look at it and he said the shingles on the low pitch area were cupping which could lead to a leak. There is no cupping on the higher pitch roof. The shingle is still in good condition. The roofer suggested removing and replacing the entire roof instead of just the low pitch area. I know that the leak is coming from the low pitch area.I would rather just replace the section with the low pitch. They are continuous with one another. Any suggestions?
