THE LARGER NUT IS THE PRESSURE CUT-OFF SETTING,AND THE SMALLER ONE IS NORMALLY THE DIFFERENTIAL,EXAMPLE-IF THE PUMP SHUTS OFF AT 40 PSI- THE DIFFERENTIAL COULD BE 6 PSI THUS THE PUMP COMES BACK ON AT 34 PSI....TRY TURNING THE BIG ONE AND SEE IF IT RAISES OR LOWERS THE PRESSURE...THEN WAIT AND SEE WHEN THE PUMP COMES BACK ON...WHEN STARTING OFF TURN THE NUTS 1/4 TO 1/2 HALF A TURN AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS..YOU WONT HURT ANYTHING IF YOU DO IT A LITTLE AT A TIME....
