In Response To: Vinyl Floor patch (Shawn)

Cut out a square section around the damaged area and replace it with an identical or similar piece of vinyl flooring. Prepare the cut out area before laying down the new piece. If your flooring is one piece, find some lines or squares around the area to be repaired and cut on the lines or squares. If there are no lines or squares, find a pattern that is easy to follow and cut. Use a stanley knife with a new blade to do the cut. If your flooring is tiled, remove the damaged tile. f you can't find a similar flooring, and you have a closet, remove a piece from the closet and use it to patch up the other, more visible area.
