In Response To: Used Bamboo Floor Installation (William Zung)

Don't use nail or staple on your bamboo floor boards. Check that the edges are perfectly straight on each board so that there are no gaps between them when they are put together on the floor. Apply a thin bead of wood glue to the edges when laying them down. Make sure that the boards are tight together so that when the glue dries, the boards together form a tight surface. If you have to stop work in the middle of the room for some reason, abutt the glued boards with 2X4s so that they won't move. When you resume work, remove the 2X4s and continue. When all the boards in a room have been glued together, you will have a floating floorboard.
