YOU NEED TO TURN OFF THE POWER AND CHECK EACH ELEMENT WITH A CONTINUITY TESTER,A MULTIMETER. POWER MUST BE OFF,SET METER TO OHMS,SOME METERS HAVE A TONE SETTING.PUT ONE LEAD ON EACH END OF ELEMENT,IF YOU GET A READING,ELEMENT IS GOOD. CHECK BOTH ELEMENTS.IF YOU GET AN OPEN ,NO READING ELEMENT IS BAD.ALSO CHECK THE THERMOSTATS RIGHT ABOUVE ELEMENTS,SOMETIMES THERE IS A RED RESET BUTTON ON THEM PRESS RESET BUTTONS. THE THERMOSTATS CAN BE CHECKED ALSO WITH THE METER.
