In Response To: new driveway (Al)

An asphalt driveway will crack. The driveway has to be sealed each year. The sealant is not expensive, but it is messy. You can pay someone to do it for you, but it will cost you from $120 to $250 depending on the size of the driveway. The main advantage of asphalt is that it is much cheaper than concrete. I think that in the long run, you will be happier with a concrete driveway if spending the extra money does not bother you.
