Plaster Repair

Posted By: Kirk Olsen

I have an old house. The plaster was applied directly to concrete block. A 2x4 ft section has fallen away. I have been told that if I add new wet plaster that it will eventually buckle at the point where it meets the old plaster because moisture will seep in-between the old plaster and wall. Is there a way (or a product) that will allow me to make this repair? I would prefer not to remove all the plaster.
