Move the TV set to another circuit and see if it happens to the other circuit. If it does, then the power supply box in your TV may be faulty. If it does not, then you have a problem on the line. Perhaps a loose connection in one of the junction boxes or power outlets. Draw a circuit diagram of that circuit on paper and locate each junction/outlet on the circuit diagram. Since all five outlets are going out at the same time, the fault appears to be located between the circuit breaker box and the first outlet. In addition to using a current tester, electricians sometimes temporarily rewire a circuit outside of the drywall in order to locate a fault in the line. If you do this, take the necessary precaution to staple the (temporary) wire above the floor so that small children do not get harmed.
