In Response To: Use of Concrete Forms (John Taylor)

You don't need any agent. The concrete will make the tube wet, and it will tear off easily. After the concrete hardens, use a stanley knife to cut along the tube (from bottom to top.) Ensure that the knife is very sharp (use a new blade.) Then insert the blade into the cut and pry a corner out. Pull on the corner. The tube will come out clean. If you wish, you can make two cuts opposite each other, but I did nto find it necessary.
