Not difficult but you need the right process.

Tiles must usually first be etched with muriatic or phosphoric acid, then painted with an epoxy based paint.

Best advice will come from a professional paint dealer such as Sherwin-Williams, Pittsburgh, Dutch-Boy or other pro paint shop near you...
