Dryer too hot?

My tenant is notified that the GE clothes dryer in the condo they rent from me is getting too hot. It feels hot on the top of the instrument panel. I pulled the dryer out from the wall and cleaned the lint from the dryer, replaced the vent hose and checked for lint in the vent in the wall. I did not remove much lint. Ran the dryer on the highest setting for 30 min. afterward and it did not get hot. A week later, my tenant reported that the dryer got hot again. It does not do this everytime, or just on high. Could it be the dryer (it is about 15 years old) or could the vent be plugged up?
