I would look into cedar, redwood, or presure treated if you want to paint it. You may be able to find a few seperate pieces that when put together make a nice profile. If you have some tools you may also try pieces of wood glued together like 2x4's and then routed. I would try to make somthing up from stock pieces. It takes time but will not be as expensive as custom.
