Squeaky cabinet drawers

Posted By: bob

We have wooden cabinets and drawers ----- no metal, all wood. They are over 50 years old, but in excellent condition. However, when you push the drawers closed they will squeak at the last moment, just before closing. We tried wax on one drawer and it did eliminate the squeak; however, the drawer is now so slick that when you pull it out it almost flies. What can we use to eliminate the squeak?
