In Response To: Re: Moisture in the attic (Roger)

Hello, Joe and Roger...you seem knowledgeable about this common problem so I need your advice with my moisture/condensation delimma! I have a flat roofed home in SW Colo. and when my home was built, the bathroom fans were vented into the ceiling and not to the outside. We have dark "bleeding" every spring from our ceiling beams! We feel sure that this is due to the bath fans! We also have many, many recessed lights. Now...how do we remove the bath fan boxes which were installed during construction and run venting hoses to the outside? We have looked inside the fan boxes but they are attached to joists beyond the open sheetrock. Is there a simple, do-it-yourself fix for this? We are very "handy" but just cannot get the box out to run the venting to the outside. Help is much appreciated
