If all the hoses are tight, more than likely you have a leaking water seal. That requires taking apart the motor and pump housing and replacing a seal. Not for the faint at heart. I know how to do it and am tempted to call Sears to keep from cussing at it. They have the tools and parts. A sharp tech should be able to knock that job out in an hour or so.

BUT, if it's an old machine 10+ years... I'd replace it with a new one. (personally....)
