Check the spring cables and make sure that they're in the proper pulleys. Check spring tension. Garage springs do wear out and they might not be giving you the lift that you need. Finally, check the wheels and track for any binding. Make sure the wheels roll freely and if not, replace them. Clean and lubricate the track with a lubricant able to take cold temperatures without gumming.
