In Response To: cold floors (wis)

If you are simply concerned about cold floors I would consider using radiant floor heating that can be installed in the spaces between the floor joists. A system of special plastic tubing is laid out in the gaps between the floor joists. Warm/hot water flows through these lines and heats the floor. This system is typically used to heat rooms not just floors but it would definitely heat your floor. A local heating contractor should be familiar with this system. Since you have radiators already it may be a fairly simple installation.
