Pexi-glass is undoughtly the best the way to go. Durabilty, strength, weight,ease of installation,ect.. , the only draw-back is it will scratch easily & it is not the cheap.

Glass at that size must be at least double strength or plate, making it very heavy, and again relitively expensive.

My sugestion is to use Regular Thin Pexi-glass and install it with small wooden runners predrilled for deck screws,they will not rust,

All of this is lite enough to be done by yourself.Any more problems just ask.
