In Response To: tile (Rebecca Mancini)

I would go ahead and seal the grout since it seems to be in a heavily used area. I have heard that some sealers will darken the grout very slightly so it may be beneficial if you think it is to light. This will also help with cleaning and preventing stains in the grout. As far as cleaning goes any good neutral cleaner should be safe if it is a ceramic tile floor. Try a tile store and see what they recommend. I have used many common no rinse cleaners such as spic and span with good results. IF you have anything other than a ceramic tile floor defiantly consult a tile store. Marble, terra cotta and other tiles and stones are different and need special care.
