A Handyman Helping Hand

disguising paint edges

Posted By: Deb

I am working on a very old bathroom. It had paint literally peeling off the walls. I have scraped and sanded the paint that was peeling off the walls but now I have an equally frustrating situation. There are so many layers of paint on the walls that the sanded edges where the exposed plaster meets the old paint are VERY noticable. I hate to paint over this and leave this noticable edge. Is there anything I can do to disquise the transition between the old paint and the newly exposed plaster.

Any advice will help.

Thank you!
