I hated geometry in school but I guess this is one of those times when you need it. I would take a board and set it against the facia. Take the other end and put one nail in the vertical support so the roof rafter is just angled there. Take a 3" or 4" piece of scrap that is 90 degrees on both ends. Set the scrap up against the facia and draw a line down the rafter. This will give you the proper angle, or at least a rough estimation of it. Some fine tuning may be needed for proper length but at least you have the angle.
