In Response To: citronella wax stains (joanna)

This may sound crazy but try DAWN, the dish washing liquid. Believe it or not it was used to clean a highway after a semi truck overturned and spilled commercial "lard". It was the only cleaner that worked well enough to have the highway opened.

If that does not work try some kitchen degreasers or even automotive engine cleaners. Be very careful using these. They may stain or discolor the flagstone. Test a small are first.

You can also try baking powder. Simply poor some on the stain and wait a few days. You may have to reapply but this will take automotive oil out of concrete.
