A Handyman Helping Hand

Dryer Vent

I have a hair salon which has been in business for 12 years. I service and maintain the gas clothes dryers myself. I removed the back of the machine and serviced the area behind the blower wheel removing hair and lint. The machine took too long to dry. I then went back and removed the ducting which is about 18 feet long going up at a diagonal and cleaned out the duct by using an electrical fish tape, cord and some wet towels which I pulled through the duct. I called the salon and it is still taking too long for towels to dry. It is hot in our area right now and our humidity is pretty high considering the temperature. I wondered if you have any suggestions??

Best Regards.....Charles
