Cracking grout

Posted By: Felix Dacatt

In my bathroom I had a new window put in and had ceramic time installed around the bathtub and window area. The problem is that the grout between the wall and shelf area of the window keeps cracking. The person whi installed it told me that the wood frame for the shelf absorbed too much moisture and is making the grout crack. My grout is green, should I not grout and just put a Silicone caulk?
