Cutting Blinds

I have a small business installing blinds for homeowners and I haven't run into this problem but I want to be prepared when I do. Exactly how do I go about cutting blinds if they're too wide or too long. I'm putting up all kinds of blinds so I'll need several suggestions. I've thought about buying a miter saw (12") and cutting blinds with that. I would change out blades whenever I had a different type of material(pvc, wood, plastic). What type of blades would I need for this material if this is the idea I should go with? Thanks for any advice. It would be much appreciated. Sonny
