Diswasher Exhaust

One year ago I bought a house with kitchen appliances that were no more than three years old. When my wife and I used the diswasher however, we found all the lower kitchen cabinets filling up with warm moist air. I believe this happens during the dry cycle. There is no warm air venting out the front of the washer like I presume it is supposed to. I've briefly looked under the dishwasher and nothing blaring stuck me as out of order. I'm thinking that there must be something wrong in the door assembly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
