Don't know about the particular model you have but most of them have an oil seal between the agitator drive block and the inner tub column. If the seal leaks, oil gets in the water and on the clothes. Most of the seals are not fun to change since the drive blocks have a tendency to corrode onto the drive shaft from the transmission. Also the transmission can get water in it when the oil seal leaks so you might have a problem with that - if so, change the oil.
