Remove the cold water hose from the washer, ofcourse shut off the supply first and unplug the washing machine. There should be a screen inside which traps sediment. It is probably clogged. If you can clean it without causing damage you might be ok. Usually it is suggested that you replace the water fill assembly but you might get lucky.
