In Response To: camcorder battery charged, camera says battery low (Eve)

Eve,

Hmmmm... About the only thing I can think of to 'try' at this point is to make sure that the contact points on the battery and the camera are clean and making good contact. You should see some little metal tabs on the surface that the battery attaches to and they should line up with some little contact surfaces on the battery itself. You can clean these with a pencil eraser on both the camera and the battery. They should be 'shiny'. Look to see if it 'looks like' the contacts on the battery and camera would seat together properly. Probably the camera contacts have a bit of a spring load to make sure it gets good contact when the battery is slid into place.

Other than that, my next best guess is that there is a problem with the camera electronics. That is beyond my skill level and experience so I won't be any help there. I'm pretty much at a loss except that there IS a problem. What you are experiencing isn't normal...

Good Day!

Don
