I understand that zinc strips prevent moss and lichen growth on shingles but any existing growth must be removed with dilute chlorine bleach. What I don't know is the correct rate of dilution.I had good results doing this about 10 years ago but don't remember how much water I added to the bleach. A scrub brush and elbow grease is used with the solution . Please use rubber gloves and goggles!
