Several possibilities:

1) completely drain the gas from the tank and fill with fresh gas from the station...not left over gas. It could be you simply have old gas or water has gotten into the tank.

2) screw out and clean the tip of your spark plug. If the tip is oil fouled (oily), gas fouled (built up sediment) oe carbon fouled (black) it will not fire properly. Take a piece of fine grit sand paper, fold it in half and sand thoroughly all parts of the firing tip. Reinstall the plug and it should run ok.
