suspended ceilings

Wanting to install drop ceiling in basement. Main sewer line runs along ducts. Can get my 2 1/2" drop under ducts as recommened but a couple of ceiling panels will be tight under the fall of the sewer line run. Can a person still get them in place. Not worried about removing panels later. Head room under ducts is 6'7" with this insallation, trying to save as much as possible.

Thank you
